The AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme 2025 is one of the most important educational support programs for students who have experienced major personal loss or hardships and is providing them financial assistance. This scheme is Managed by the Student Development Cell of the All India Council for Technical Education – AICTE and this scholarship aims to confirm that students doing technical education do not face any problem in their studies due to financial or family challenges. The scholarship is processed entirely through the National Scholarship Portal – NSP and is open to both degree and diploma students studying in AICTE-approved institutions. Candidate should be currently studying in the AICTE Approved institutions and courses at the Degree/Diploma level in regular mode – 1st /2nd / 3rd /4th year. The candidate should NOT be a Recipient of any of the Central Govt. Or State Govt. Or AICTE Sponsored scholarships. A maximum of 2000 scholarships – 1000 for Degree Students and 1000 for Diploma Students will be awarded every year to eligible candidates as above. Rs 50,000.00 per annum for every year of study i.e. maximum 4 years duration for first-year admitted Degree students and maximum 3 years for Diploma Students as lump sum amount towards payment of college fee, purchase of computer, stationeries, books, equipment, software, etc.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Requirements Explained)
The AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme 2025 is dedicated to students facing life-altering circumstances. To be eligible, a candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Students who have lost both parents for orphans.
- Students who lost either or both parents due to COVID-19.
- Wards of Armed Forces or Central Paramilitary Forces personnel martyred in action.
- Students whose parent is suffering from a critical or life-threatening disease, or is critically disabled (above 80%), or has died/been disabled in an accident.
- The annual family income should not exceed ₹8 lakh from all sources.
- Must be studying a technical diploma or technical degree in any AICTE-approved institution.
- Students across 1st to 4th year of degree and 1st to 3rd year of diploma can apply.
Financial Assistance: What Students Will Receive
Selected students are awarded ₹50,000 per year for the entire duration of their degree or diploma program.
- Degree students: Maximum duration of 4 years.
- Diploma students: Maximum duration of 3 years.
For students already in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year, the scholarship duration is adjusted accordingly. The amount can be used for: Tuition fees, College-related payments, Books & stationery, Laptops, computer accessories and Educational software or equipment
