The AICTE-LILAVATI AWARD is a flagship initiative that is launched by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) that aims of recognizing and promoting impactful efforts made by AICTE-approved institutions toward women empowerment and gender equality. This award provides a strong platform for institutions, faculty members and students to showcase meaningful interventions that address long-standing social challenges faced by women and adolescent girls across India. Through the AICTE-LILAVATI AWARD, institutions are encouraged to go beyond classrooms and actively engage with communities to find solutions to issues such as gender discrimination, lack of access to education, unemployment, poor health and nutrition, digital illiteracy and social insecurity.
