(GSK Pharma) Provide financial assistance meritorious students from financially disadvantaged families who aspire to pursue an MBBS degree. first-year MBBS students studying in government medical colleges can receive up to INR 1,00,000 per year for 4.5 years. As India’s increasing focus on strengthening healthcare infrastructure and encouraging more students to join medical education, this scholarship plays a crucial role in bridging economic gaps. Over the years, the programme has supported more than 300 MBBS scholars that demonstrating GSK’s commitment to promoting equitable access to quality medical education.

Who Can Apply for the GSK Scholars Programme?

Students must meet the following eligibility conditions to qualify for the 2025–26 cycle:

  1. Applicants must be first-year MBBS students enrolled in a government medical college in India.
  2. They should have scored at least 65% marks in their Class 12 board examinations.
  3. The annual family income should be less than INR 6,00,000 from all sources.
  4. Only Indian nationals can apply.
  5. Students who are children of employees of GSK Pharma or Buddy4Study are not eligible.
